Candle care

🔥 Candle Care

Love your candle and it’ll love you back. Here’s how to make the most of every burn:

First time? Go all in.

Let it burn long enough the first time - about 2–3 hours so the wax melts all the way to the edges. It helps avoid tunnelling and sets the stage for a clean, even burn every time.

Trim those wicks

Before each burn, give both wicks a little trim to about 5-7mm. It keeps the flame steady, cuts down on smoke (keeping your jar clean), and helps your candle last longer. (use one of our wick trimmers if you want this to be an easy task!)

Keep it cool (but not too long)

We recommend burning for no more than 4 hours at a time. It protects the jar and keeps the scent fresh and balanced.

Safety stuff (we know you know)

Burn on a heatproof surface, away from anything flammable, and never leave it unattended. Pets and little hands? Best to keep the candle out of reach.

Don’t toss the jar!

When there’s about 1–2cm of wax left, it’s time to say goodbye - but not forever. We do offer a candle refill service, or you can clean it out and reuse it for whatever you like: pens, makeup brushes, cotton tips, you name it.

🌿 Diffuser Care

Low effort, high impact. Here’s how to keep your reed diffuser working its magic:

Set it up right

Place it somewhere safe, out of direct sunlight and away from heaters or air-con vents. The more stable the temp, the longer your diffuser will last.

Choose your strength

All 10 reeds = max scent throw. Want it softer? Start with fewer reeds and add more as you go.

Flip to refresh

Every week or so, flip your reeds to boost the fragrance. Just do it over a sink or a paper towel to catch any drips.

A quick wipe goes a long way

Wipe down the bottle now and then to keep it looking luxe. And try to keep it off painted or porous surfaces - diffuser oil can stain if it spills.

How long does it last?

Up to 6 months of beautiful scent, depending on your space. Bigger rooms or breezy spots might go through it faster - but we promise, it’s worth every whiff.
